Privacy policy
There is no contact form, no account and no advertising on this site. There is analytics, and the cookies that come with it — so it is worth saying precisely what is collected and what is not.
What this website collects
There is no contact form, no sign-up and no advertising anywhere on this site, so nothing is collected from you directly. What is collected is aggregate traffic measurement, described in the next section.
Our web server keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser user-agent) for security and troubleshooting. Traffic reaches us through Cloudflare, which also processes those connection details as our infrastructure provider.
One preference is stored in your browser and never sent to us: whether you chose light or dark mode. It stays on your device and clears with your site data.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people actually read and where they arrived from. It tells us how many people visited a page; it does not tell us who you are, and we do not combine it with anything else or use it to build a profile of you.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes your IP address to do this. Google truncates that address rather than storing it in full, and we have not enabled advertising features, remarketing or ad personalisation on this property. Google's own practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can opt out across every site at once with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies or the domain in your browser. Nothing here depends on analytics working, so opting out costs you nothing.
Cloudflare, which serves this site, may also record aggregate request statistics as part of providing that service.
What happens when you email us
The site's only contact route is a plain email link to [email protected]. When you write to us we hold your message and address in our mail system so we can reply to you and keep a record of the enquiry.
We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or share your details, and we do not pass them to anyone outside the firm except where the law requires it.
Confidentiality
Client work is carried out under a mutual non-disclosure agreement. We do not publish client names, and material shared with us during an engagement is handled under that agreement rather than this notice.
